Dividend Independence - 2021 Goals

We can finally leave the year 2020 behind us. A year to quickly forget, let's hope 2021 has some better news in store for us. But it's also the year I started with my dividend/passive income portfolio. And oh boy, the feeling  you get seeing those dividends role in is indescribable. To get the year off to a good start I would like to write down some new year's resolutions. I write these down to challenge myself and I'm able to reflect on these at the end of te year on how it went.

My dividend portfolio.

In this post I would like to give you an insight into my dividend portfolio. It consist of 30 stocks and 2 ETF's. If you want to take a look at all the different stocks click here. Since I just started this portfolio a few months ago it still needs some work, but I'm already quite happy with it. I'm certainly looking forward to start adding cash to my existing positions.

My portfolio is split up into 3 main parts (EUR, USD & GBP). This for the best demographic spread, but also a spread in terms of currencies. It's possible that I add a few holdings in the future, but 30 stocks seems a good start for me. They are a mix of high yield stocks and dividend growth stocks.

I also added 2 ETF's for even more diversification. One focused at the American market and one at the European market.

Welcome to my blog!

Welcome to my very first blog post!

With this blog I would like to give you an insight into my path to financial freedom. For me, this means a life where nothing is 'obligatory', but a lot is possible. The main way I would like to achieve this is trough dividend income. Because this is the most passive form of income you can get.

Who am I?

I'm a 25 year old guy from Belgium. From an early age I'm interested in investing and everything that has to do with finance. Since this is a project that will take quite a few years to complete. I would like to take you guys along and maybe motivate some of you to start doing it yourself. My native language ain't English so bear with me if I sometimes make some typo's. I would like to improve my English, so this is a great way to start with that project.
